Working on last sat 15/12 morning ard 6am+. Answered a most stupidest call i ever had. Goes like this..

Ring.. Ring..
me: Good morning XXX. Dennis Speaking. How may i assist you?
caller: I cannot surf the internet.

me: can i have the I/C & subscriber name to check account?
caller: Sxxxxxx & blah blah blah..

me: ok. account is fine. may i know how many lights do u see on ur modem?
caller: all lights.

me: is ur modem connecting direct to pc or using router?
caller: cable.

me: no madam. i mean you got wireless in the house?
caller: no cable. but got router.

me: ok. so your modem is connected to the router right? using wireless or wired?
caller: cable.
(TMD i ask u wired or wireless u keep telling me cable cable cable.. KNN)

me: ok ok. so you are wired to the router. can you turn off the main switch for ur modem & router. then you on back the modem first. once lights are stable. then you on back the router.
caller: so i off the main switch then the modem then the router... later i on back modem then router then main switch right?

me: ??? no madam. you on the main switch for the modem first.. then once lights are stable, then u on back the router.
caller: correct la! so i on back the modem first. then router. then the main switch!
(CCB! this woman damn fucking stupid.)

me: madam you know what is main switch? do you know what is electricity?
caller: (she abit piss off already)of cos i know main switch & electricty what! U JUST TELL ME WHAT TO DO LA!

me: ok. i repeat. off the main switch which is the electricity for the modem & router. then u on back the main switch for the modem first. once lights are stable. then you on back the router.
caller: CORRECT LA! so i off the main switch. off the modem then router. so when i on back. i on the modem first. router then main switch la!
(KNN. PCB. im also piss off liao. most stupidest woman i ever seen. somemore 6+am call in)

me: madam. how u on the modem first when ur main switch is off?
caller: ..... AIYA. so just off everything then on modem first then router then main switch RIGHT?

me: (im already piss off) YA YA YA YA YA.
caller: SO IM CORRECT LA!

me: YA YA YA YA YA.
caller: JUST OFF EVERYTHING THEN ON BACK THEN MAIN SWITCH. WHY JUST YOU CANT TELL ME TO DO.

me: YA YA YA YA YA (my colleague turn over to look @ me thinking simi tai chee..)
caller: OK. so i go off them now.

me: ok! thank you. good bye!
caller: *HANG UP*

WAH... DAMN PEK CHEK SIA! MOST STUPIDEST WOMAN I EVER SEEN! SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS DON'T UNDERSTAND! DAMN JOKE OF THE DAY MAN!..

you all know what? she keep calling in for 3 - 4x from 6am+ - 7am+
all colleagues told her same thing to off the equipments..she off till damn pek chek.

me: Good morning.. blah blah blah(same as above)
caller: im been calling since 6am+ till now. im fed up with you all. keep asking me to off/on the modem & router. everytime i off the modem. you all will run away! (she using digital voice service. once off modem.. line cut).. so dun ask me to off/on the modem & router any more!

me: ok. do you see the blue/black(linksys router) equipment? infront got any lights.
caller: yes! its on what!

me: can you turn off the router which is the blue/black(linksys router) equipment?
caller: don't ask me off anything anymore!

me: ok ok. you check behind the blue/black(linksys router) equipment. do you see the power cord. its like nokia handphone charger head.
caller: i don't see any cables at all!

me: .... if you dun see any cables behind.. then infront got lights??
caller: (quiet for a while) i see a AC adapter connected to it.

me: correct! you got see the cable?.. connected to your router. the head is like those nokia handphone charger?
caller: yes.

me: ok unplug it then plug back again.
caller : done it.

me: do u see lights infront?
caller: yes.

me: now go to your pc. look @ the right hand bottom corner of the screen. do you see any icon that looks like 2 computer link together?
caller: yes.. that LAN(Local Area Network)

me: does it shows connected?
caller: no. got a red cross.

me: you are using wireless or wired?
caller: cable(TMD. again say cable.. nvm)

me: ok. if you are using cable.. that means there is no connection between your router & pc!
caller: huh.. so what now?

me: there should be a cable connected from the router to your pc. the physical connection is not there. go to your router. look behind. got how many cables?
caller: AIYA..I DONT NO LA. I WILL GET SOME 1 TO COME & SOLVE IT.

me: ok.. thank you. good bye.
caller: *hang up*
